Camera Auto-Focus Tips! According to Dr. Shimo, AF modes are not suited for shooting low-contrast scenery, fences, recurring patterns, and other such elements that can be difficult to bring into focus. When attempting to shoot such elements, you can use manual focus. You can also use One-Shot AF by first focusing on another object at the same distance as the subject that you wish to shoot. Lock the focus, and then re-adjust the composition with the intended subject, for amazing results!
